How to unlock or limit the speed of an electric bike?
You can set the speed limit by the instructions below:
1.08P is the speed limit setting. For our e-bike, the adjustable speed limit range is 1~45km/h. (The maximum adjustable speed limit
varies by different protocols).
2.Turn on the LCD display and make sure the speed shows 0.
3.Press and hold the button [ + ] and [ - ] simultaneously for more than 2 seconds to enter the personalized parameter setting interface. You will see the screen shows 01P then.
4. Press [ + ] or [ - ] to switch the parameter to 08P.
5. When you see the interface of the screen shows 08P, then you can press the button [ i ] to enter the parameter-changing state which is under the 08P.
6. Press [ + ] or [ - ] to select the parameter that you need.
7.Press [ i ] to save the parameter settings and then the interface of screen will return to the setting interface of 08P. Or you can just press [ i ] for a long time to save the parameter settings and return to the original interface.
How to get after-sales service?

How long is the warranty, and what does it cover?
We have after-sales centers in Europe, 2-Year Warranty Accessory: Structural component-fork, seatpost, handlebar, stem, brake lever, brakes, sprocket, crankset, and thumb shifter, Electronic component- charger, controller, display, booster, shifter handle, motor, and shifter. (if a product problem occurs within the above warranty period, it will be exchanged for a new one free of charge if it cannot be repaired.)

I have had my bike for a couple of weeks and wow! This bike is so much fun!!! This morning before work my husband and I rode for about 5 miles and went through some pretty crazy terrain. I felt so safe going through the rocks and dirt. I am still learning all the gears but it has been so easy to use. I am short only 5' and this bike works perfect...I was a little nervous thinking I wouldn't fit it but no worries. I can't wait for the all the adventures ahead with this bike!
I purchased the Burchda U8 for my wife, and she was a bit nervous at first, her first ebike, but she got over her fear and she loves it now! We just got back from a 26 mile ride and other than a sore rump, she thoroughly enjoyed it. She's already planning future rides.
The U8 is a perfect bike for smaller individuals, and it's not to complicated to learn how to use it. The battery pack is fantastic, she rode the 26 miles, mostly on motor only, and only lost 1 bar. The added accessories was an added surprise, and the shipping was free and only took 7 days to receive it. I waited 90 days to receive my ebike, not a Burchda. Burchda seems to be a reputable company and so far we have no complaints, thanks again for the great ebike.
Assembly was not hard. Just follow the instructions and you will be ok. After completing assembly I charged the battery . The ebike would not power up. After running through the power on steps a few times I figured out my problem. I found that the battery was not locked into place Once I took care of this the bike powered up. Everything worked with exception of the headlight. I contacted customer support. They said that if I message them a video of me hooking up the headlight and turning it on and it not working, they would send me a replacement. Thank you customer support. By the way I have ridden the bike and am really enjoying it.
